Overview

Policymakers and firms need better market information to make sound decisions with regards to the use and promotion of clean, renewable energy technologies ("Green Energy"). Specifically, they need better information about consumers' preferences. They must understand what trade-offs Californians are willing to make when they purchase transportation solutions and electricity, especially with regard to factors such as price, convenience, and environmental benefits.

The Green Coast Foundation uses leading-edge quantitative market assessment tools to evaluate the attitudes and preferences of both consumers and commercial customers throughout California. We then provide this information to help stakeholders develop both policies and products that will more efficiently foster California's market for Green Energy. Ultimately our goal is to improve the lives of Californians by providing the best market intelligence about the demands for Green Energy products in the State.
