The California Biomass Collaborative was tasked by the state's bioenergy action plan with drawing up a roadmap for future biomass development in California. In order to obtain your input, and that of others for inclusion in the roadmap, a public workshop on the subject has been scheduled.

To help focus discussions, a draft planning document has been posted to the Collaborative web site: http://biomass.ucdavis.edu/ I hope you can find the time to review the document and make suggestions and recommendations for the final roadmap. The California Energy Commission will be announcing details regarding how to submit formal written comments for the roadmap. Comments are due by September 22. Verbal comments will be accepted at the workshop.
