The Green Coast Post is an energy-related news and analysis website that supports our nonprofit, public-education mission to promote the use of clean, renewable energy.
The Green Coast Post is a lens on world news. We aggregate internet news feeds and filter out the Paris Hilton chatter. We’ve trained Infocious’s search technology to cull stories into energy-related channels: Climate, Security, Health, Business, “Glam-Green” (when Hilton drives a hybrid, please let us know) and Opinion. Then we edit these recommendations, and juxtapose the stories in our Top News channel.
Often the juxtaposition speaks for itself. The world is experiencing a tipping point. You may care about only global warming or only energy security, or you may be interested in all of our channels’ topics. Regardless of your interest, the Green Coast Post will bring you daily news stories that explain not only the challenges caused by our reliance on carbon-based fuels, but also potential solutions and opportunities.
The Green Coast Post also offers original content. Within our Opinion section, you’ll find analysis from over three-dozen bloggers that Green Coast has recruited for their expertise in energy policy, technology, business and related fields. You’ll find their blog posts mixed with other experts’ opinions on energy-related topics. We plan to develop more original content in the future.
Meantime we look forward to bringing you news and analysis, from which you can draw your own conclusions. If you have any suggestions about news feeds that we should add to the Green Coast Post, then please feel free to email us at contactus@greencoast.org.
